Al Tahoor Quran Institute: Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 23, 2025

Welcome to Al Tahoor Quran Institute! By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Service” or “Terms”). These Terms govern all aspects of your engagement with us, including your use of our site, services, and any related information, tools, and features. Please read them carefully. Your continued use of our services signifies your full acceptance of these Terms, which may be updated periodically. It is your responsibility to review this page regularly for any changes.

Registration & Fees

After completing your trial class, to register for ongoing classes at Al Tahoor Quran Institute, payment will be handled as follows: If you join mid-month, you will be invoiced for the remaining days of that month, and this pro-rated fee is due in advance. Subsequently, from the 1st day of each new month, the full monthly fee will be due in advance. This payment secures your spot and ensures a smooth start to your learning journey. Any additional advance payments or deposits for future services or specific enrollments will also be taken after your initial registration. We guarantee your satisfaction; should our services fall short of your expectations, we will promptly issue a refund as per our Refund & Payment Return Policy. Our foremost objective is to ensure your satisfaction is not just met but exceeded.

Free Trial Period

We offer a 3-day free trial class to new students only. You are not charged for using our services or trying our lessons during this trial period. If you find value in what you experience, you can continue enjoying our services by paying the regular fee once the trial period concludes. This trial period can be extended upon student demand, subject to the discretion and approval of the academy management.

Referral Program

Al Tahoor Quran Institute offers a gift of $25 USD for any student inviting someone new to join Al Tahoor Quran Institute. The beneficiary student can choose to receive this amount directly or have it adjusted against their tuition fees.
We also offer an affiliate or referral program for individuals other than students. If anyone wishes to join this program, please contact us. Please note that the referral amount is subject to change based on various factors.
Please contact our administration via email at [email protected] or through our official WhatsApp after recommending a student or expressing interest in the affiliate program. Please mention the recommended student’s name and the beneficiary student’s name (if applicable) to receive the gift.

Number of Monthly Classes/Hours & Adjustments

The number of classes and study hours is agreed upon at the time of enrollment. If you wish to increase or reduce the number of classes, please contact us via email at [email protected] or send us a message through our official WhatsApp.
Please note:

  • Your monthly classes are scheduled based on the calendar month (1st to last day). If you join mid-month, your initial payment will be pro-rated for the remaining days of that month. Full monthly fees are then due by the 1st of each subsequent month.

Also:

  • If there are extra classes beyond the agreed number in any month (e.g., a fifth Saturday when only four classes are scheduled), your teacher will inform you of the cancellation of those additional classes.
  • This is because your payment is calculated on a per-hour basis, and extra classes beyond the agreed plan are not included in your tuition.
  • Example: If your plan includes 4 classes per month on Saturdays, and the month happens to have 5 Saturdays, the 5th class will be cancelled.

Adjustments to Class Duration

At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, we prioritize delivering the best learning experience for our students, and this includes allowing our teachers the necessary time for preparation and assessment. To ensure optimal class quality, there may be slight adjustments to the scheduled duration of sessions. Sessions may last up to three minutes less than the scheduled time, as needed by the teacher. For instance, if a session is scheduled for 30 minutes, the interactive part of the class may last approximately 27 minutes. These adjustments enable our teachers to dedicate ample time to engage and support students effectively.

Upgrading/Downgrading Study Plan:

  • Yes, you can increase or decrease your study plan classes, but you must inform [email protected] by email or text via our official WhatsApp two days earlier at the end of the current month and before the next month starts, otherwise your current scheduled package of the month will be canceled without refunding.
  • Additionally, students can add extra hours to the current study plan at any time.

Payment Methods

For your convenience and security, we accept a wide range of payment methods including credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, and bank transfer. If you encounter any issues with any payment method, please get in touch with our support team, and we’ll assist you promptly.

Payment Policy

To ensure safety and ease, tuition fees are handled on a monthly basis. Our billing cycle runs from the 1st day to the last day of each calendar month.

  • Initial Payment: After completing your trial class, if you decide to continue, you will be invoiced for the remaining days of the current month (pro-rated). This pro-rated fee is due in advance to secure your enrollment for the remainder of that month.
  • Subsequent Monthly Payments: From the 1st day of the following month, the full monthly fee for your chosen study plan will be due in advance.
  • Payment Due Date: Payments are due on the 1st of each month. The last date for payment is the 5th of the month. In case of any payment issue, you must inform the administration immediately. If payment is not received by the 5th of the month, classes will be suspended until payment is completed.
  • Invoicing: You will receive an invoice for the upcoming month’s tuition. Prompt payment is appreciated, as our ability to support our teachers depends on timely payments.
  • Unused Classes from Previous Month: If you have remaining classes from a previous month due to a notified absence or teacher unavailability, these unused classes will be covered by makeup classes only, at the convenience of the teacher and as per academy policy. Please do not delay the new month’s payment to wait for those classes to be completed, as this will disrupt scheduling.

In the rare event that an invoice remains unpaid after the due date, your lessons may be temporarily suspended until the payment is received. However, once the payment is received, your lessons will promptly resume as per your scheduled plan.

Class Conduct and Punctuality

Time is the most valuable resource we have. Therefore, both students and teachers are expected to be online promptly at the scheduled time. Punctuality is essential, and delays will not be accepted from either side—except in cases of genuine emergencies.
We kindly request that you prioritize joining the class at least 2 minutes before the scheduled start time. To make the most of your learning experience, we recommend the following:

  • Pay close attention to the teacher: Focus on the lesson and actively engage in the class discussions.
  • Minimize Distractions: Create a focused learning area by removing any potential distractions from your surroundings.
  • Comfortable Seating: Sit in a comfortable and ergonomic position to maintain your concentration and physical well-being.
  • Stable Internet Connection: Ensure you have a reliable internet connection to prevent interruptions during the class.
  • Clear Audio: Use a good quality headset or earphones to ensure clear and crisp audio communication with your teacher.
  • Camera On: Keeping your camera turned on promotes active participation and enhances the interactive learning experience.
By following these guidelines, you can fully immerse yourself in the class and make the most out of your Quranic learning journey.

Teacher Punctuality and Conduct

Occasionally, a teacher may miss a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as a power outage or medical emergency.
If your teacher is late, please let them know you are online and waiting. The teacher will make up for any missed time or class.
If a teacher is frequently late or absent, please tell us quickly about this matter by emailing us at [email protected] or contacting our 24/7 live support on WhatsApp.
Absence & Makeup Policy
We understand that sometimes you may need to miss a class. Please review our absence policy:

  • Punctuality and Late Arrivals: Our teachers begin the class promptly at the designated time. If, for any reason, you are unable to join the class on time, the teacher will wait for the first 15 minutes. However, if you do not enter the classroom within this grace period, it will be considered an unexcused absence or a no-show, and no make-up class or refunds will be provided. In the event that a student’s late arrival causes the class to start late, the class will still conclude at the scheduled end time.
  • Notified Absence & Rescheduling: If a student cannot attend a class for any reason, they must inform the teacher or directly contact the administration at least 4 hours before the class starts. The student may then reschedule the class to another suitable day.
  • Note: A maximum of three rearranged classes per month is allowed, regardless of the study plan.
  • Rescheduling Limit: A maximum of 25% of your monthly hours can be rescheduled. This allows us to accommodate all learners effectively and maintain a balanced learning experience for everyone.
  • Makeup Class Finality: Once a make-up class is scheduled, it cannot be canceled or rescheduled. We kindly ask you to attend the make-up class as planned, as no further make-up classes or refunds will be provided if it is missed. Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines are greatly appreciated.
  • Unnotified Absence: If a student misses a class without informing the teacher or administration at least 4 hours in advance, no makeup class will be provided, except in cases of sudden illness or a death in the family.
  • No Refunds for Missed Classes (without prior notice): Please note that we do not offer refunds for missed classes where prior notice was not given. However, if you provide prior notice to the administration as per the policy above, you are eligible for a makeup class.
  • Holiday Notification: If a student plans to take a holiday, they must notify both the teacher and the administration/Quality team by emailing [email protected] or using our official WhatsApp.
  • Short-Term Cancellations: Do not contact the support team for class cancellations that are less than one week in duration.

Extended Absences

If you find it necessary to cancel more than 25% of your monthly hours, we offer two options to accommodate your needs:

  • Option 1: Temporary Suspension – By choosing this option, you can temporarily suspend your enrollment. However, please be aware that there is a possibility of losing your current appointments if they have already been booked or your assigned teacher if his schedule is fully occupied. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring the efficiency of your Quranic journey, and our platform is designed to connect you with elite Quran teachers.
  • Option 2: Maintain Enrollment – With this option, you can keep your current enrollment active, ensuring the continuity of your dedicated teacher and established schedule. This means your lessons will remain active, and you can resume your Quranic journey whenever you are ready. However, please note that we are unable to schedule additional hours beyond the 25% limit of your monthly hours. Any hours exceeding this limit cannot be scheduled or refunded.

If you have any further inquiries or require assistance in choosing the best option for your situation, our dedicated support team is here to guide you.

Teacher Absence and Assignment Changes

  • Teacher Absence: In the unlikely event that your assigned teacher is unable to attend a scheduled class, we understand the importance of immediate action. Please contact our customer support without delay, and we will promptly address the situation. Rest assured, if a teacher misses a class, we will schedule a make-up class at no additional cost to you. Your satisfaction and uninterrupted learning experience are our top priorities.
  • Teacher Assignment Changes: While we make every effort to ensure stability in teacher assignments, we acknowledge that as you progress through the course levels, a permanent teacher change may become necessary. Our goal is to ensure your continued progress and growth, and any teacher changes will be carefully managed to minimize disruption to your learning journey.
  • Substitutes: In the rare event of a teacher’s extended absence, we have a system in place to ensure uninterrupted progress. We will provide you with a qualified substitute teacher who possesses the same competence and expertise. He will seamlessly guide you through your Quranic journey, following the same plan and maintaining the same level of efficiency until your main teacher returns. However, please note that substitute teachers are not available for the Ijaazah Program, as it requires the dedicated guidance of your assigned teacher. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these rare circumstances.

Dress Code

Students should ensure that their outfit is modest and suitable for the Holy Quran classes.

Holidays

At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, our commitment is to provide an uninterrupted learning experience year-round. As an international platform, we do not observe official holidays, except for the Islamic holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. As a tuition-based school with a significant number of enrolled students, we adhere to industry standards by not offering make-up classes, credit, or refunds for tuition during these two holidays.

  • Continuity of Classes in Ramadan: At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, we understand the significance of Ramadan and the importance of maintaining consistent learning opportunities during this blessed month. We ensure that classes continue as scheduled, taking into consideration the timings of Iftar and Suhoor for both students and teachers. During Ramadan, there may be minor and temporary adjustments to the class timings for some students to accommodate the fasting schedule. However, rest assured that these adjustments are made in a simple and appropriate manner, ensuring that all students can continue their learning without disruption. Please note that these adjusted class timings will revert to their original schedule immediately after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, allowing you to resume your regular class routine. We value your commitment to learning and strive to provide a seamless educational experience throughout the year, including during Ramadan. By accommodating the unique needs of this holy month, we ensure that your Quranic journey remains uninterrupted and meaningful.
  • Continuity of Classes on Other Holidays: At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, we prioritize providing uninterrupted learning opportunities, even during Western and non-Muslim holidays. We continue classes as scheduled on holidays such as New Year’s Day, Islamic New Year, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We understand that you may have personal obligations during these times. If you require time off during Ramadan or Western and non-Muslim holidays, we kindly request that you adhere to our rescheduling and extended absences policy, as mentioned above. This policy allows for flexibility in rescheduling a certain number of lessons without incurring additional fees.

Refund & Payment Return Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. A student may be eligible for a refund from Al Tahoor Quran Institute under the following circumstances:

  • Teacher Unavailability: If Al Tahoor Quran Institute is unable to provide an available teacher for the student.
  • Course Withdrawal Before Start: If the student formally withdraws from the course before the commencement of classes.
  • Acceptable Excuse for Discontinuation: If the student is unable to continue with the course due to an acceptable excuse, as determined and approved by Al Tahoor Quran Institute.
  • Services Fall Short of Expectations / Stopping Classes: If you are not satisfied, or if you wish to stop your classes at any time during the month, we will refund you 100% of the classes that have not been given. However, you must email [email protected] or text via our official WhatsApp two days earlier than the date of stopping.

For eligible refunds, we will begin processing your request at the first of each month.

Money-Back Guarantee

At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, we take pride in the quality of our courses and want our students to have confidence in their enrollment. That’s why we offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee. If, within the first week of classes, you find that our courses do not meet your expectations, you may request a refund. However, it’s important to note that refunds will not be issued for classes taken after the first week. We are committed to your satisfaction and strive to provide a rewarding learning experience. Try our courses risk-free and embark on your Quranic journey with peace of mind.

Quality Assurance and Progress Reports

The quality of learning is continuously monitored through structured procedures. These include tracking attendance and discipline, conducting regular teacher training, gathering feedback from both students and teachers, and issuing monthly progress reports. To maintain our standards, supervisors may periodically observe classes to ensure the highest standards of quality. For the comfort and convenience of our female students, a dedicated female supervisor will be assigned.
Teachers are required to record the class times and write a brief summary report after each session.

Monthly Progress Reports

Students and parents will receive a Monthly Progress Report at the end of each month. These reports offer parents a clear overview of their child’s academic performance and development, allowing for timely support and intervention if needed.

Rating and Feedback

Our Quality department will email you after a few lessons to ask for your feedback. Please let them know if you have any concerns, enquiries or complaints. Your feedback helps us to improve our service. We highly appreciate it. We kindly request that you fill in a feedback form at the end of your first month with us and whenever you wish afterwards.

Complaints

Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and we take any concerns or complaints seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your course, please don’t hesitate to contact our dedicated Customer Support team at [email protected]. We value your feedback and will acknowledge your complaint within three business days. Rest assured that we will work diligently to find a resolution that meets your expectations.

Off-Platform Study

It is not allowed to study with your teacher outside of the Academy. All classes and interactions must occur within the Academy’s designated platforms.

Withdrawal from Academy

If the student decides to leave the Academy for any reason, they must inform the administration at least one month prior to their intended departure by emailing [email protected] or contacting our 24/7 live support on WhatsApp. This prior notification is essential to ensure a smooth transition and allow for proper administrative procedures.

Teacher-Student Relationship Policy

At Al Tahoor Quran Institute, we prioritize maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment. To uphold these standards, we require both students and teachers to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Boundaries: The teacher-student relationship should be strictly professional, focusing solely on class-related topics. Personal information should never be shared with the teacher during or outside of class.
  • Prohibited Requests: Our teachers are explicitly prohibited from making requests for personal information, favors, or monetary gifts/loans from students. If such a request, including any financial appeals, occurs, we urge students to decline and promptly report it to our administration.
  • Exclusive Platform: For security and consistency, all classes must be conducted exclusively through Al Tahoor Quran Institute’s platform. Conducting classes outside our platform is strictly prohibited.
  • Liability policy: While we strive for excellence in our teaching team, it is important to understand that Al Tahoor Quran Institute cannot be held responsible for any consequences resulting from the neglect of these policies. Please be aware that while we take utmost care in selecting and training our teachers and clearly defining terms and conditions for both teachers and students, Al Tahoor Quran Institute cannot be held responsible for individual actions or comments from either party. However, we strongly encourage both students and teachers to provide feedback and report any concerns to our management. Your valuable input helps us maintain the highest standards and continually enhance our services.
  • Reporting Procedure: Any complaints concerning improper conduct in the teacher-student relationship should be immediately reported to [email protected]. Rest assured, we take such matters seriously and will take necessary action to address any concerns.

By adhering to these guidelines, we ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all. We value your trust in Al Tahoor Quran Institute and strive to provide an enriching and secure educational experience.

Expressing Gratitude

We deeply appreciate your desire to show gratitude to our dedicated teachers. However, to ensure smooth logistics and proper administration, we can currently only accept financial gifts from students to their teachers through the platform and not through direct transactions. Once received, our Finance Officer will promptly ensure that the gift reaches your designated teacher, conveying your appreciation. Please note that we are unable to accept and forward physical gifts at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, your thoughtful gesture will be conveyed to your teacher, and we encourage you to express your gratitude through messages, testimonials, or positive feedback on the platform. Your support and appreciation mean a lot to our teachers, who work diligently to provide you with a remarkable learning experience.
